My Adventure with Toyota

November 30, 2015

There are things in life that are essential to who we are, they may not define who we are but these things do enhance our personality. I believe cars are one of these things, and people who drive tend to spend a lot of time in their cars, so in a way it's like a second home.
A couple of weeks ago I got the chance to test drive the new 2015 Blue Crush Toyota Corolla S and I have to say this car is on my wish list for next year.

Listening to the Weeknd through Pandora.

One of my favorite things in the Corolla was the bluetooth function. The car is able to connect wirelessly with your device to play your favorite music. This is something I look for in a car because I don't listen to normal radio, I always either have Pandora or Spotify playing so the bluetooth function had me jammin' to my favorite tunes all weekend long.

The moonroof is something I really enjoyed while being on the beach, it's just one of those things you need.

I thought it would be a great idea to take this car on a real test drive through Miami Beach, one of my favorite places to go and while I was there, I decided to have a mini staycation.
(A much needed thing for new mommies!)
We stayed at a small boutique hotel, Sense Beach House, and it had the best decor.
The hallways were decorated with Barbie portraits, yes, you read that right, Barbie Portraits.

The Corolla is the perfect sedan for anyone in their 20's, it's very affordable and has some really good specs. Not only does it have an amazing and modern design, but it also has a smart key system, a moonroof and it's extremely efficient getting 42 MPG. The Corolla is also packed with 8 standard airbags, Tire Pressure Monitor System and Whiplash Injury Lessening Seats, which makes this car very safe to drive.

Miami Beach is one of my favorite places in Miami, and I always try to find the most serene places in the middle of the beach chaos, like these trees. On the first day I decided to wear a comfy denim like dress and it was the perfect outfit for this day.

This truly was a weekend full of relaxation, the beach wasn't as loud and the weather was perfectly warm, we drove all around South Beach and then took in the quiet beautiful night from our balcony on the 18th floor.

Another great and much needed feature the Toyota Corolla has is the rear view safety camera. Perfect for anyone in Miami who needs to parallel park or make any 3 point turns, as the streets can be quite small in some parts of the city, especially Miami Beach.

Day two of the trip consisted of shopping and eating at my favorite spot on the beach, Lincoln Road Mall.

The navigation system on this car is phenomenal, pretty much everything is hands free and the technology this car is packed with really makes driving a pleasure.

Always on the go, checking emails....

And taking Selfies.... ;)

And if needed, retouching my make up...

Lastly, we took a drive to Wynwood to admire some art and enjoy our last moments with the amazing Corolla.

If you're in the market for a new car, I definitely recommend looking at the Toyota Corolla!
