BEAUTY: Urban Decay Naked Skin Review!
Dec 15, 2015
Today I am super excited to be sharing this post with you all.
I decided to try a whole new foundation routine with ALL Urban Decay products and I'm sharing my thoughts with you here!
I also filmed a first impression on my youtube channel so make sure you check that out HERE.
Things to know:
My Skin Type: Combination/Oily
My Preferred Foundation Finish: Matte
Amount of Times I Wear Foundation Weekly: 2-4
Okay, now let's get into the review!
I will be talking about each product separately but I will also be mentioning how each products adds/subtracts from the routine!
This is the first product I apply on my face after my moisturizer dries. My first impression of this product was overall a good one. I think it definitely adds to the routine. I decided to go with the pore perfecting primer to minimize my pores but they do have another primer in the line. It does have a bit of a tint but it goes on and dries clear. It's thick and tacky on the fingers but it goes on perfectly smooth on the face.
Overall I really like this primer, it doesn't feel oily and the scent is not unpleasant like a lot of other primers I've tried.

I have applied this product either after my primer or after I'm done with my face routine, or both.
I think it does a wonderful job being applied after your primer, I feel like it helps control oil more than just being applied after because it's adding to the primer.
I love the way it feels on my skin and it definitely controlled my oily skin!

* If you're not oily and want your make up to be set all night, I would recommend buying ALL NIGHTER but since I don't need my make up to last at night, I bought De Slick :)
Okay, I have no idea why I never thought to try this foundation, I feel that it's not very talked about and I really don't understand why! This foundation had me a little confused because I wasn't too sure how I felt about it. After a few times using this foundation, I AM IN LOVE. I have actually been mixing it with the Too Faced Born This Way foundation and I feel like it's the perfect cocktail for my skin BUT I love the Naked Skin on it's own and WAY more than the Too Faced one. It is a demi matte finish and I love that because I don't like dewy finishes but it still manages to look natural while giving you great matte coverage. This is hands down my favorite foundation to date.

After I heard every you tuber rave about this product I knew I had to get it and give it a try! I actually have been using this product before trying out the all UD face routine. At first I really didn't think it was ALL that but after a couple of weeks of using it, I definitely think its a product every make up junkie should have in their collection. I use the shade Light Neutral and I use it just to cover up those nasty under bags!

This is the last product I applied in my UD face routine and unfortunately this is the only product I absolutely hated!
I usually am not so critical of setting powders but loose powders isn't really something I'm a fan of, however, this powder was just not a match with me from the get go. I thought I got the correct shade but it ended up being too light (there's not that many shades to choose from anyway), and it ended up making my whole face look really patchy and dry. At the end of my first impression I just was not satisfied with how it set, and I came to realize it was the powder. The last few times I have done this exact routine, I have skipped this powder and just set my concealer with a light pressed powder and then the rest of my face with my usual powder which is a drugstore product and my foundation looks flawless!

Overall, I absolutely ended up LOVING all these face products, *except the powder* but it was such an impulsive decision to try these and I couldn't be happier I did.
If you want to watch my actual first impression then make sure to watch my youtube video!
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you all found this review helpful and that if you're in the market for a new foundation routine, that you give one of these products a try!
Until next time,
