Red Carpet Favorites: 2014 Emmy's
There is no denying that I am a major primetime television fan. I watch so much TV and the ironic part is that I don't own one. You see, a couple of years ago I decided it was poisoning my brain and I hate commercials so thank god for all my favorite shows being online (Woooooo). Some of my favorite nominees from Monday night's show include Game of Thrones, GIRLS, Mad Men, Orange is the New Black, Big Bang Theory and Louie.
Unfortunately, I was not able to watch the red carpet OR the show (I am currently watching it though) but I could not get away from all the fabulous ladies rocking amazing gowns on instagram. And so I searched the internet for my favorite looks, here are my top 10 looks of the night. Enjoy!
Allison Williams in Giambattista Valli
Allison and I are the same person you know, or at least her character 'Marnie' on GIRLS is my soul sister. So I was sooooo excited to see her in such a gorgeous gown. Definitely the best dressed of the night in my book.
Lizzy Caplan in Donna Karan Atelier
Lizzy has come a long way since Mean Girls, THIS girl ROCKED it on the red carpet, her gown was so simplistic yet killer. THE BACK IS SO HOT.
Michelle Monaghan in Giambattista Valli Couture
I'm gonna be honest, I don't even know who this woman is but I just know she's gorgeous and her dress is definitely on my 'favorite gowns ever' list.
Kerry Washington in Prada
This woman just had a baby? Or am I wrong? Kerry looked stunning in this mandarin colored gown, the details are just so beautiful and that little navy sparkly skirt hiding under it? Genius.

Natalie Dormer in J. Mendel
Again, a personal favorite girl of mine, Natalie plays one of the best characters on GoT and when I saw her in this number, I WAS SO THRILLED! This orange/black combo just won my heart.
Sarah Hyland in Christian Siriano
Sarah Hyland is one of the only young people to attend the Emmys like every year and you can see her growth as a woman on that carpet but she rocked it this year. This number is not only classy but also keeps her looking young!
This latina lady was definitely the best dressed OITNB cast member, don't get me wrong, her peers wore stunning dresses but my gosh Selenis looks like a queen in this dress. She is after all the Kitchen Queen ;)

Uzo Abuda in Christian Siriano
Another OITNB cast member who just got it right. Crazy Eyes? More like CRAZY GORG!
Sarah Paulson in Armani Privé
Viola Davis in Escada
Betsey Brandt in Alice + Olivia
This dress is the perfect combination of spring and fall and girly and I can't get enough of it. And those purple pumps? I died. Can I have this whole ensemble in my closet please?
Those were my favorites of the carpet? Let me know if you had any!
